Our expert Dispensing Opticians and Lab Technicians are highly skilled and experienced at cutting lenses and advising which lenses will work in particular frames. 

Our onsite glazing lab

We know that mistakes can happen, so if you crack your lenses, just pop into Kings Hill Opticians – we hold simple prescriptions in stock for replacements as you wait.

If your prescription isn’t currently stored with us, don’t worry, we have an onsite glazing lab which allows us to cut simple prescription lenses in house. This means you only have to wait from one hour before your replacement lenses are fitted!

Our fast-track service for complex prescriptions

For the more complex lenses such as the Varilux X series, we are able to fast-track the replacement lenses of our existing customers with the manufacturer*. This means you get to jump the queue and have your replacement lenses with you in 72 hours. This requires us to pay a small fee on top of the cost of production, but you only pay for the lenses.

*We are only able to fast track production with our UK-based manufacturers.

Our repair service

Many opticians don’t repair glasses in store, but our instore repair lab allows us to fix simple problems, such as missing nose pads and screws, as you wait.

If your problem can’t be repaired in the Kings Hill Opticians practice, we will happily send your glasses to the manufacturer to be repaired within 3 days.

If you have a problem with your glasses, just pop in store and ask for Matt.
